Please be aware that transport arrangements are subject to change and if your child needs to leave early or arrive late during the day, for example illness or medical appointments parent/carers are responsible for transporting them to and from school.
If you have decided to transport your child to and from school yourself, you will drop off and pick up at the pupil entrance. If you arrive early you can ring the intercom at the gates to be allowed entrance to the school grounds to queue. There will be staff outside to assist pupils at the start and finish of the school day. Do not allow your child to leave the car before being prompted; this is a safety risk.
Please remember to tell the transport team directly (not the vehicle driver/PA) if you move house as this may mean that your child will change vehicle and may need a new risk assessment. This will take time so please inform them early.
You may be able to claim for mileage – please speak to your SEND team / transport for more details.
